Here we have a Fender USA Stratocaster Rebuild

This started life as a 98 Fender USA Standard, however although its Fender it does have a new body, so it may be considered by some as a Partscaster, however, I think we look at it as a professionally rebuilt guitar that was saved and had a little, but not too much of, the Maybury touch.

It’s been given an Olympic white body and some complimentary red pearloid plates to just lift it and give it a little Vagas. The patina of the original Fender components when combined with the new give this guitar a contemporary yet lived in feel.

The only other things that has been done, is the replacement of an old aftermarket capacitor with a 60 year old .022 Tropical Fish and a full setup.

This gives us a Stratocaster that plays great, looks like a Strat, but different enough that it will make people take a second a look.
