A very distinctive guitar made from reclaimed Norwegian Spruce that was subjected to the shou-sugi-ban Japanese weathering method (burning, brushing, washing and oiling)
One of the most distinctive Maybury Guitars, the heavily weathered and distressed body, nickel hardware and brass stitching definitely make it stand out from the crowd.
This one also has a modified recycled maple neck, recycled Epiphone P90 Pro pickups and a 60 year old Tropical Fish capacitor which all go to giving it its own distinctive sound.
Unfortunately pictures and words only go part way in describing this guitar, as without touching it, you are unable to understand the truly tactile nature of the weathered wood.
